StylistHub ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Neil James, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the StylistHub app.

1. Information We Collect

StylistHub is a business tool for self-employed hairdressers. The information stored in the app falls into two categories:

Your account information:

• Name and email address (used to create and manage your account)

Client data you enter:

• Client names, phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses
• Appointment history and service records
• Colour formulas and record card notes
• Photos attached to record cards
• Allergy information and patch test records
• Financial records including income, expenses, and mileage

2. How We Use Your Information

All data collected is used solely to provide the features of the StylistHub app. We do not use your data or your clients' data for advertising, marketing, or analytics purposes.

• Account data is used to authenticate you and maintain your account
• Client data is stored securely and used only to power your diary, record cards, and financial dashboard

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with servers in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties except where required to provide the service (for example, payment processing via Stripe).

4. Payment Information

StylistHub uses Stripe to process subscription payments. We do not store your payment card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

5. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@stylisthub.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

StylistHub is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via the app or by email.
